Britton Electronics & Automation provides complete flow measurement solutions for municipal water, wastewater, industrial processing, and utility applications. From selecting the proper instrument through calibration, startup, and SCADA integration, we help customers obtain accurate, reliable, and traceable flow data.
✓ Flowmeter Calibration & Service
Accurate flow measurement is essential for regulatory compliance, process efficiency, chemical dosing, pump control, and reliable plant operation. BEA supports flowmeter systems used throughout municipal water, wastewater, and industrial facilities.
We assist with instrument selection, installation review, startup, configuration, calibration, troubleshooting, and integration into PLC, HMI, SCADA, historian, and reporting systems.
Whether commissioning a new meter or verifying an existing installation, our technicians help ensure every instrument is properly installed, scaled, documented, and delivering dependable data for operators and compliance reporting.
Calibration Services
NIST-traceable calibration services, verification, accuracy testing, documentation, and periodic maintenance.
Professional Installation
Proper sensor installation, wiring, configuration, commissioning, and startup for dependable operation.
SCADA & Reporting Integration
Connect flow instrumentation directly into PLC, HMI, historian, and reporting systems for real-time visibility.
Highlights: Flowmeter sales • Installation • Calibration • SCADA integration • EPA reporting support • Troubleshooting
✓ Why Routine Calibration Matters
Flow measurement accuracy affects far more than the instrument itself. Properly calibrated flowmeters improve process efficiency, chemical dosing, regulatory reporting, and equipment performance while helping prevent costly operational issues caused by inaccurate measurements.
Regulatory Compliance
Accurate flow data supports EPA reporting, discharge monitoring, permit compliance, and documentation required for municipal and industrial facilities.
Improved Process Control
Reliable measurements improve chemical dosing, pumping efficiency, process consistency, and overall plant performance while reducing waste.
Reduced Downtime
Routine verification identifies sensor drift and installation issues before they become production problems or result in unexpected shutdowns.
Benefits: Regulatory compliance • Improved process efficiency • Accurate reporting • Reduced maintenance costs • Longer instrument life
✓ Keyence FD-H Series Clamp-On Flow Sensor
The Keyence FD-H Series installs quickly by clamping directly to the outside of existing pipe, tube, or hose. This allows flow measurement without pipe cutting, process shutdown, or leak risk.
Clamp-on flow measurement is useful for retrofit projects, temporary monitoring, troubleshooting, and applications where process interruption is costly or impractical.
No Pipe Cutting
Installs on the outside of existing piping, reducing downtime, leak risk, installation labor, and process disruption.
Broad Fluid Support
Suitable for water, DI water, oils, coolants, chemicals, high-temperature fluids, and viscous liquid applications.
Process Monitoring
Can support centralized monitoring when paired with additional temperature or concentration sensing.
Highlights: Clamp-on installation • No shutdown required • No leak risk • Retrofit friendly • Metal and plastic piping • Troubleshooting applications
Ready to improve your flow measurement system?
Whether you're installing a new flowmeter, upgrading an existing measurement system, or scheduling routine calibration, Britton Electronics & Automation can help you obtain accurate, dependable flow data that supports compliance, improves efficiency, and keeps your operation running reliably.
